What is Fitness for Heroes?

Fitness for Heroes is an annual 4-week fitness challenge held every spring for everyone from the novice exerciser to the seasoned athlete. The challenge is an excellent way to get in shape AND help out a local nonprofit organization! We are going to use this 4 week challenge to prepare our bodies for a 5K run.

In this competition, you will be asked to work out as many hours as you can in that 4 week period. The workouts are completely up to you and will look different for everyone. The best part? If you’re struggling with what to do, we’re going to provide you with a goal for every week, leading up to the 5K run. All proceeds will go towards providing more free memberships, equipment for the gym and education for our coaching staff.

In an effort to hold you accountable to your fitness and goals during this challenge, outside of providing workouts, we’re asking participants to collect donations to support our mission. For every hour that you work out, have a family member, friend or coworker pledge to sponsor your activity.
